Becki Watson
Becki has BS in Animal Science from Colorado State University. She raised 4 children and volunteered at school, church, and filled various sports positions over the years. Becki grew up on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin. My husband’s family are all from Traverse City. I have been spending summers here for 30 years and moved here as a year-round resident in 2014. I have always loved the outdoors and would like to help out wherever needed to protect our beautiful lake and keep it clean and safe for everyone to enjoy

Dave Baker
Dave grew up spending his summers on the lake of Ontario, Canada, where he came to appreciate the importance of healthy lake for fishing, boating and swimming. I have work in the commercial finance industry for 40 years. Dave and his wife Karen began coming to Long Lake with friend in 2008 and purchased a home on the south end of Long Lake in 2014. They rebuilt their home with the intention of Long Lake being their permanent residence. Dave and Karen enjoy outdoor activities including boating, fishing, swimming and hiking. Dave has a strong work ethic and believes in volunteerism. He desires to work for the well-being of Long Lake and support the objective of the Long Lake Association to preserve the lake as a beautiful natural resources and recreation area.

Rick White
Greetings! I’m Rick White, a Financial Planner with Advanced Financial Group. I moved onto Long Lake from the east side of town in June of 2006 with my wife Ellen and our two children. We fell in love with the lake, its islands, loons and the beautiful northern Michigan landscape. I would like to serve on the board for several reasons, some are listed below.
• Help protect our wonderful lake asset by promoting water quality
• Ensure continued protection and promotion of our fishing and loons
• Explore ways to mitigate the potential for harm to motorist and pedestrians along all aspects of Long Lake Road, but especially those curvy sections where motorist tent to speed.
My goal would be to serve our community with my time and talents.
